This album as a whole wasn't one of my favorites, because it lacked the harder, bleed american side, of jimmy eat world. However, it introduced some of my favorite Jimmy Eat World songs like Let it Happen and Dizzy. Overall i thought it was a pretty solid album, and I like all of the tracks except for probably here it goes and feeling lucky

I really enjoyed this album, even from the first listen. I missed JEW so much; I'm very, very satisfied with their latest. I do miss their Futures and Clarity days, however, this album is something even better. They are freaking awesome and I still love them. <3

I'm just listening to it for the first time, and it seems solid. I have to agree with Kelly, though: I really enjoyed some of the harder songs on their past records, and so far at least this just isn't quite getting there. It's enjoyable, but I miss that edge....

The cover reminds me of Pear Jam's latest album cover. I know they look nothing alike, but I get the same vibe with the two.

I think the new album is wonderful. They managed to mature their sound while keeping that signature JEW timbre intact in their songs. Now they just need to schedule a european tour and I will be the happiest girl in the world!

Where did the "loudness" go? One main reason I love JEW is their ability to blend harder songs like Bleed American, Just Tonight and Pain with great ballads like Hear You Me, Polaris and 23. In that respect I am pretty disappointed with the new album. Otherwise the new album is a solid JEW release and good for easy listening...

yeah, this album could definitely have done with a few more ballads or songs resembling Disintegration. Should have ran with the direction they were going with on Gotta Be Somebody's Blues instead of songs like Electable. Be Sensible and Open Bar Reception would have given the album a better balance instead.

Why oh why is the new album so terrible? Lacking the catchiness of Bleed America or the heart of Futures, or even the experimental side of Stay on Your Side Tonight. It just sounds like a hollow pop record, 'Here it Goes' makes me want to be sick its so cheesy.

Oh and Fugliest album cover, much?
