In a tired and true, typical fashion, my weekend plans involve me getting together with a bunch of friends, finding an excuse to buy rum, vodka, mixers, and oddball objects, and dancing the weekend away. Wow, run-on sentence, much, right there? ...And there too. I've also got a handful of birthday parties to attend, so I'll be heading to the neat second-hand stores downtown to find some nifty, cool things to give away and provide some laughs. Other than that, I'll be laying around, watching sucky morning/afternoon television with friends, eating junk food, and tending to yet another hangover from hell.

This weekend I will be working and then just relaxing. Last weekend was pretty hectic, I attended Hott Date at The Rainbow (which is a pretty bad ass party, they're famed for their all day parties in the summer).
I got very drunk and danced my ass of to a rather eclectic mix of music and everybody went crazy for the AC Slater & Skeet Skeet remix of Meddle by Little Boots.
I took a lot of drunken pictures too.

every weekend starts off the same: with a friday morning to do list. all the things i can't wait to do this weekend. perhaps a long walk in the park? maybe visiting with friends? laundry, errands, a movie, cleaning, grocery shopping - all those things make the list. and then... i find myself exhausted from a full day of friday work and in need of a quick drink. next thing i know, i'm wasted and crawling into my bed at 4am. when i surface on saturday, it's egg sandwiches and true life marathons. and by saturday night, i'm reenergized... and drunk again. sunday morning, it's once again recovery time... this time with degrassi and 90210 marathons. sunday night i'm finally ready to get some work done. what up 24-hour laundromat!

it's a viscous cycle.

If by weekend, you are mean beginning on Saturday, then I have to go to VASE, an art competition, early in the morning for the one piece I am entering, afterwards, I have to find something to do for a couple hours before heading into work at PacSun at 5. Depending on how nice the night is to me will factor in whether I will be stopping by a friend's house for a party featuring the predominant guest of alcohol, but I have to remember to wake up early to go to church with my family in the morning. After that, the rest is up to the wind and how it blows.

I am fleeing to Solana Beach Friday night where we are cooking a Southern feast with the cook books that former Miss America of 1959, Mary Ann Mobely, gave me. Then on Saturday during the day we are going to this place that you can pay to throw plates at a wall and break stuff. Then on Sunday I'm driving back to L.A. in the morning to bike ride with my friend Danielle to get breakfast at Grub and then I don't know what I'm doing during the day. weekend plans: well i have a lot of homework, especially in my 3 Dimensional Design class, I have to make a large plaster mold of some type of fishbowl. I also plan on going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and wonder around for a few hours, i am especailly interested in the medieval illuminated manuscripts and the impressionists. I also might stop by the natural history museum for the first time. I'm ashamed that i've live in NYC since September and haven't been yet. Last Tuesday was my birthday so this weekend I'm celebrating at Kings Cross; Saturday night out on the town. I freaking love the Cross. Drug dealers, hookers, street walkers, cops, gnarly security guards, millions of backpackers, fucked up people and the assurance of a midnight taxi (if you know where to stand - which I do). I'm also going to buy and assemble some flat pack Ikea furniture (a chest of drawers, maybe a chair if I'm feeling flush). And I'm going to do some city-walking with my Nikon D40x, listening to madcon and the guano apes and figuring out exposure to get some awesome architectural shots. Tropfest is on Sunday, so I'll hang out in the open air with some friends on a picnic blanket. And I'm got some work proposals to do... And washing up... All that human stuff...

Well, my weekend started early due to a PTA meeting or other such thing going down at the highschool I attend. (Got out of class for the weekend on Wednesday, and also had Monday off for Family Day.) I had a night filled with Rock Band, potato chips, and downloading the new Von Bondies album. Besides all of this unbearable excitement, I'll be doing studying for chem and Elizabethan-style writings for english, and watching re-runs of the Canadian Obama visit on the news. =3

This weekend, in particular, I have visited Newport Back Bay to observe the wildlife there, made some mixtapes for some close friends and attended an amateur soccer game (a.k.a. football depending on where someone who reads this lives.) My further plans include, but are not limited to, indulging in the box office with Coraline, He's Just Not That Into You, Confessions ... Shopaholic and Push, working at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, CA (you should visit if you live near by) and doing homework for school.

Well, I'm going to go buy some eggs right now at Key Food. This is really exciting because I've never been to this Key Food before, so I'm really looking forward to it.
After that I guess I'll come home and make the eggs. Then I've got to make plans and figure out my life for the next month since I don't have a job after Wednesday.
Tonight I wanted to go out, at least to the bar, but I'm feeling so lazy I'll probably stay home and watch netflix, possibly alone. I will regret this later, knowing that I should have just forced myself to go to the bar down the street, having motivation only in retrospect.

My weekend: Friday consisted of going with all of my friends to a bar in France and somehow, feeling a bit too generous, decided it would be best if I bought them all drinks. Thank god it was my last day there because I ended up broke with too many Jagerbombs in me.
Saturday was worse, getting up at half 6 to get a plane back home whilst definetly still not fully sober. Got back to the house and the first thing I did...why turn on the computer and go to prettymuchamazing.com!!

I arrived home on Saturday from Iceland, a super extravagant/excessive b'dya present to mysel haha and I turned NINETEEN today, sunday, in a foreign country away from my family and friends, as I'm on a GAP placement working in a UK school in LONDON for a WHOLE year! Some reeeally nice coworkers (I wouldn't have survived without them) took me out to a noodle bar in Greenwich which was fantastic!

This weekend I went to Barcelona for the weekend. Went down las ramblas and went to a sick outdoor market with the freshest seafood I have ever seen. Went to Opium on the beach for a amazing time thursday night and hit Elephant on saturday for another sick night. Gotta go back to barcelona very soon, amazing place, everyone should visit. Basically I went to synagogue, sang in synagogue, saw Fired Up! (WHICH WAS AWESOME), did community service at synagogue, and then made my own sushi.

2) I am currently living in Hong Kong. The prompt was for weekend plans, but since here it is already Monday morning I suppose I will talk about the execution of said plans. Saturday I spent the day at Kam Shan park where there is a large Monkey conservation. Then that night I missed the last bus back to the city and spent the night on the beach. Sunday morning I played bad minton across from where I live with a group of elderly women who easily defeated my friend and I. In afternoon I managed to see Jose Gonzalez (In HONG KONG!). In the evening we walked through the street markets and ate Hong Kong's delicious street foods (fish balls, fried cuddle fish, coconut juice).

On Saturday I worked a bake sale for a mission trip to mexico fundraiser in 32 degree weather outside of Walmart where I was told to stay 15ft from the door and couldn't move the other side of the entrance where the wind would be blocked because "It could be worse" (says the manager. Could be worse my ass, you sit out in the cold weather in the wind, in the shade. Sorry I'm a little bitter.) Then I went to watch my college basketball team who is ranked #1 in the nation in the NAIA Division II play their last regular season home game (which we've won!!! so that made my day a little brighter.)

Then today, Sunday, I worked in the soundroom at school for most of the afternoon.

This past Friday, I went to a party off-campus at my college. It was pretty fun, although I wasn't planning on being the sober one that took care of everyone. All my friends got trashed and someone had to be the responsible one and walk them back. Saturday I woke up at 2 pm due to the previous crazy night, and went to Perkins to eat with two my friends, who were ridiculously hungover. We then proceeded to go to Michael's to get some art supplies, and PetSmart to look for fishies. I got back to my dorm, got ready, and went out with my boyfriend to one of our friend's house for some drinking and games. We made a sheetz run, and then went back to his dorm to sleep. I had to wake up and go to work at Ruby Tuesday today, where I'm a hostess. And I've been home ever since.

This weekend I had to write thousand words (yes 1000, no more, no less) about the subject "Is it usefull to bring the computer back to the physical world", although my English is't that good (my mothertongue is Dutch), the subject isn't a bad translation, it just a stupid assignment ;-).
Also coded a phpscript in OOP with several objects, keeps me in front of my MacBook the whole weekend. Hope next weekend will be beter.

So friday me and my friend had a dance party in our dorm's lounge. At times there were only 5 people on the dance floor but honestly I'm not that big on crowds so I had a good time.
