Are you serious? Do you even read the posts? Most of them don't even contain links to mp3s, he's not distrubuting mp3s unless he has the permission by the artist or label to.
PRs and artists sends us (bloggers) material (tons and TONS a day, Luis must get a million!) and if we like it, we post it along with the approved mp3s they send us for promotion. The other posts on here that don't contain mp3s are ones that leaked recently, and he's just adding his taste and review to it and a streaming link in hope that you will buy it once it gets released.
the artist gets free promotion + blogs get traffic + readers are happy = win-win-win situation.
he is not illegally distributing copyrighted material just for ad revenue, get that stick out of your ass and at least get some sense of what you're talking about.

Have you considered a netbook?

The original 7" Asus linux ones go for only $150 now or $175 with Windows, and the better Acer or Dell 9"s around $250. Newer 10"s go for $300 up

Definitely get a Macbook Luis. While they're not cheap, it's worth it in the end. Apple's cheapest MacBook stands at $999.

Also, there is a great Vermont based company called Smalldog that does Mac refurbishes and is super great. The refurbished computers are cheaper, and they ship anywhere. The site is www.smalldog.com...I don't work for them either they are just a great company to deal with and I have never had a problem with them! Maybe this helps?

I don't see why it matters much, if he asks or not. I mean, it is HIS blog, he doesn't have to ask your permission or get your approval. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it, or even more simply, don't donate. Why is being so cruel okay with you? Do you even know him? No. And, you don't have to like it, but no one here seeks your approval and no one has to donate. Win-win.

I will update this (on the comments) every day that its up. Oh and I don't know what proof I can give you that my laptop is gone other than my delayed posting. I wouldn't jeopardize PMA for a hundred bucks.
