I think "Gimme More" and "Everyday" are exactly what Britney Fans want. The songs are extremely hot and definitely club-worthy. I am definitely excited for the VMAs tonight! I'm sure she won't disappoint.

Justin Timberlake is about the only Pop act I approve of at the moment, Nelly Furtado lost her flair and the rest of it seems like an idiotic mash. Britney Spears seems to be a huge part of that mash, I'll pass on these. Though I have heard her new single on the radio, I regret not turning it off.

I definitely agree with you. Britney has massive potential to release one of the best pop/dance albums of the year. People can't judge Britney too harshly, she is what she is, you can't compare her to other music, comepare her to other dance-club orriented artists like Hilary Duff's newest release, Just Jack's new track, Paris Hilton (you can't deny her album is a club hopper), and yes, Justin Timberlake. JT pretty much runs the business right now. Props to him, his HBO show was fucking amazing. I am hella excited to see Britney this weekend.

Well Britney will always crash and burn in a critical sense, unless she dishes out some serious pop goodness like Justin Timberlake did with his "FutureSex/LoveSounds", but from what I've heard, its not half bad. Her two new songs are actually in that "Toxic" level, the level most people claim to be "the best of Britney" (I agree). If Britney releases an album full of "Toxic"-quality songs she might have herself a solid Pop release. Amazing production and innovative lyrics is what got Justin Timberlake a "Best Album" Grammy nod, Britney has that chance as well (did you really see JT as GRAMMY worthy before fs/ls?). "Gimme More" freakishly reminds me of SexyBack, "Everybody" is extremely club-worthy and has some fun lyrics to boot. I know I will probably be let down, but I have high hopes for Britney. I guess I shall cheer or cry on November 13th.

I don't think he was comparing Britney Spears to Kanye West but referring to Kanye's mastery of sampling other songs. "Everybody" does an amazing job of Sampling "Sweet Dreams". Thank you for the mp3s Luis, PrettyMuchAmazing is looking really good.
