i don't recall saying that's their fault. i don't dislike them on a personal level, they're probably great human beings. I just don't find their music enjoyable, yet the majority of people seem to think they're the shit, and is it because of the hype, or the music?

No Kyle, it's not the hype. It is the fact that their music is amazing & unique. Not real sure how anyone cannot love them. Everything about vampire weekend is beyond awesome. But yano you are allowed to have an opinion, even if it's a really bad one.
